Student Subsequent Visas

Student Subsequent Entrant Visa (Subclass 500)

The Student Subsequent Entrant Visa (Subclass 500) enables eligible dependents (such as spouses/partners and children) to join a primary Student Visa (Subclass 500) holder in Australia after their visa has already been granted.

Applicants must demonstrate a valid relationship with the principal visa holder, provide evidence of financial capacity, maintain adequate health insurance (OSHC), and satisfy health and character requirements. The duration of stay for the subsequent entrant generally matches that of the main student visa. Applications can be lodged online via ImmiAccount, whether from inside or outside Australia.
